Lyrics
I wanna take you fishing
sitting on the bank and watching our lines
the satellites transmitting
somewhere in the cold up above the sky
don't wanna hear the phone ring
wanna laugh so much that you ask what i'm on
just wanna hear the birds sing
our voices chunked like rocks out onto the pond

your better than a good day

i wanna take you walkin
kicking at the stones in a gravel road
up in the lines our friends are talking
through the honeysuckle on the telephone
don't wannna hear the television
wanna laugh so much that you ask what i'm on
just wanna hear the birds sing
the wind in the trees like an AM pop song

your better than a good day

it's a shame
that you posted your songs in the same time or almost as they push each other off the main page.

You really got your thing together and a style of your own.

An earlier commenter said, "You really got your thing together and a style of your own." He was right about that.

no bob....
it took me 216 days, but I finally made it to this jam and your hilarious comment. Dweeb humor is not lost on me. Am I gonna get beat up for calling your humor dweebish? Are we not at the "freely refer to each other as dweebs" part yet?

I think you are the funniest guy ever. What's funnier than that is that you made this brilliant comedic comment on one of my all time favorite Tempie Toons. I've drained plenty of 9v batteries listening to Tempie on my transistor radio with a single ear bud.

Yeah, I'm old school.

This reminds me of the sword fights I had with car antennas when I was a young pirate.

sweet
very very good, like the rest of the songs you have posted.
lyrics, melody, interplay of instruments, interesting guitar lines are consistently great in all yr songs. You should be an indie rock star you know.
I'd be interested to know which if any recording tricks used to attain your vocal sound (after it's left your mouth that is) - really nice sounding.

too cool for school
This is a great song. Why wasn't MJ around when I was in high school? Sigh. These are the jams me and my friends used to worship. The lyrics really sum up that weird period where you're all cranked up on ANYTHING about that one girl.

How do I miss these? I really don't know.

Love this Craig Thomas tune. Always have such interestingly cool lyrics.

Nice and groovy
This is pretty cool late sixties type psychedelia. One day I will be doing some more analog based recordings than the synth stuff I put up now and this is what I sort of would like to do, though I am not a real good lyricist. I like it!
