Description
Over the next couple of days, I'm going to post songs from the home-made EP I recorded last year. If you like them enough to put them on your iPod, here's some particulars:
Artist: Nolan
Title: No One
1. Fine
2. Funded
3. Sunrise
4. Solitude
5. Two Seconds
This song features the bassy prowess of Jim "Pooey" Mitchell, a scorching guitar solo from Fran "Ziti" Dagostino, and the mastering skills of Jim Bouchard.
I've got the niggle to write and record again so I'm hoping to spend some quality time at MacJams during the process. Float some works in progress for feedback and ideas along the way, and maybe even find some collaborators. Talk to you soon...

Lyrics
I woke up in the suburbs
I stood outside my home
And though it never really mattered
There was only me to call my own
Always patiently distracted
Always time for something else
I can go back now
I’ve been here long enough
I put in my time here
And I will always know what it’s like
When you talk about solitude
I stood under a falling sky
And I decided not to leave
And through the cold I felt the world around me offer itself
I felt a speculated warmth there next to me
Always patiently distracted
Always time for something else
I can go back now
I’ve been here long enough
I put in my time here
And I will always know what it’s like
When you talk about solitude
I wonder how it feels to be
Half of something bigger than this
Lonely place that we stumble around on
And I wonder what it’s like to think that
Being alone again would be
Unspeakably worse than the first time
I stood outside my home
And though it never really mattered
There was only me to call my own
Always patiently distracted
Always time for something else
I can go back now
I’ve been here long enough
I put in my time here
And I will always know what it’s like
When you talk about solitude
I stood under a falling sky
And I decided not to leave
And through the cold I felt the world around me offer itself
I felt a speculated warmth there next to me
