Description
I've been making background music for some scientific videos. This piece of music is for something astromechanical. I think it's a satellite in a trajectory around the earth and the moon.

The bass is my Godin fretless, the guitars are loops and the synth is Zebra2 through Filterscape.

You never cease
to surprise Vic.
That bass sounds wonderful against the lovely synths. Much too short though.
Cheers

A real
leisurely ride around the planet with this one Vic and very pleasant too, but wish it had been longer. Nice instrumental sounds you chose too, regards M

In my Hubble Opinion
This is really quite pretty and catchy... the synths are on the edge of being edgy (possibly because of the shimmery vibrato in headphones, not sure), but it quickly doesn't matter, because the cool bass-line is distractingly nice... I like this, and it feels like the perfect lead-in to something a lot bigger.

Cool track Vic
Kind of unusual using a bass as a lead instrument, but it worked really well. Short and sweet my friend, but it works. Nice track for sure.

Oooh...
...this reminds me of something - but what? It'll come to me later...

Yep, very spacey, and I can see it accompanying a science video.

Good stuff - I would like a longer version please!

Leave them wanting more....
The movie was only about a minute, so with credits that comes to barely a minute and a half.

Glad you liked it.

great bass
Any time the bass is featured so well sonically and thematically, I enjoy it.

a little short, but
on the first go, the staccato keying at the intro was a little disappointing to me in melding with the soft bed, but half way through it was all good, then. After the fifth play, I don't know why I felt that way, now.

Maybe give that a rest or leave it out at the intro and build in to it?

What a slick slurry of sound here, though - good 'space stuff'. Bass is perfect.

astronomical
Here in Germany, they have a show on late night called Space Night, where the show images from satellites and things from the telescopes.
Anyway, I think this would be a perfect fit for something like that.

Great job.

Sounds cool
The synths are great - nice sounds, adding a lovely ethereal wash, and the bass is very effective - great playing and lovely sound. Very effective. Nicely done. Peace.

Very nice piece, I wish it would have been longer.

I really like the sound of the Godin bass and you play it very well. Great ambience.

hmmm....
bass solo. I like it! a frettless provides just the right ambience to the tune. It could definietly be longer, but it's stilll pretty cool. It fits the satellite in orbit theme pretty well too.

Lovely track
Puts me in mind of the mash-ups of 'ambient' and 'country' on Eno's "Apollo" soundtrack. It sounds like you enjoyed making this.
Cheers

This really sets a mood. Your choice of instrumentation and loops is just perfect. You are not only a great musician, but a terrific producer.
