Lyrics
We're jammed at the crossroads
What can we do?
The night's closing in
I know we can make it thru.

We're running harder
Finding the pace
I know tears were never meant
For your face.

Tears were never meant for your face.

There are steps
We can never retrace
The things we've taken, God knows
We can never replace.

We will escape (we can escape)
Out from this place
I know tears were never meant
For your sweet face.

Tears were never meant for your face.

All we dreamed
All we planned
All we hold
Turned into sand...

Glad I came across this. Great song, indeed. Both the compositionand and lyrics have a certain passion that reminds me of early ABC.

Thanks!
Don't mind being compared to others that have had success in the biz. Never had ABC before, but we'll take it and add it to the growing list of diverse comparisons in previous song comments. We like that; it says we don't have an easy pigeon-hole.

Thanks for checking us out EZ. (love your 'Danse' btw)

Musically
Everything goes full circle, so if the 80s are back, then that's no bad thing. If this is a Macjams hit, we'll be happy! As long as someone is listening!

Thanks for tuning in; kind words.

Wow factor
Great to see 'wow!' The 80s are a rich source of inspiration for the big ballad. You don't get a lot of it around these days. Glad you like it, comment is much appreciated.

Your continued support means a lot. We have a 'pro' mentality, but we are not paid for making music, hence giving it up for free just to be heard. We are genuinely happy to have found Macjams so that our music can be shared.

Appreciate your comment. Glad you like our song.

Big Sound
Wow, I wasn't expecting this at all.

You do have that Martin Fry thing going on and that's pretty awesome. I'm really impressed.

This song is so dramatic because of your voice and those explosive drums. I like how it all works so easily.

I look forward to more of your music. Thanks for sharing.

Bob

re - arena
I missed this somehow, thought I had you on my alerter but now that I'm here...you guys have a great sound - a kind of unabashed embrace of 80's arena new wave. Your vocals do remind me of simple minds but also A-ha. Love the big drums. Other bands have tried this - Train, for one - but they don't attain the huge sound that you guys have. You definitely fit a currently empty niche. And beyond all that you're sharing with us so very cool tune and thanks for the DL!

Love this
Wow, this is impressive stuff! I can see why you make the effort to hold this band together over half a continent ... you have a really cohesive sound with all the parts belonging together. It's intense, dramatic and takes me back to what I was listening to in the 80s but with a fresh edge.

I will listen more ... thank you for sharing yourselves on MacJams.
