Description

This will be my 4th Christmas Collab on this wonderful website. I written some lyrics, and I have made a melody.... then I've asked for some assistance on making it a complete song to put out here... I got the help I wanted... and this is what came out. It involves macjams members and some none mj'ers.

From macjams I give you:
selters - vocals
bent - vocals
damiengh -Vocals, sax and fab solo flute
Tobin Mueller - brilliant sassy soul organ
lengold - vocals
jiguma - vocals
thoddi - vocals, guitars, bass, trumpet and drum programming
alfalpha - tenor and trumpet

And we also honored to have...
Yeman A. Al-Rawi - (Birdman Wayne) vocals and a sparkling great guitar solo
Anne Cozean - vocals (formerly known as "sisters" at macjams)
Anja Tumert - vocals

The Last Waltz!
Alf and Thor - that horn section brought tears to my eyes - so much like The Band in their later years - BEAUTIFUL! And Alf, I hope the lips are working again after all that blowing!

Another top Xmas post from you Thor - full of admiration for the way you put all this together each year. Always wanted to have Tobin (Garth) Mueller play keys on something I was on :)

You are a vital ingredient not only in this song but to the macjams community. You have put a lot of good energy into this, and contributed much to make this happen. Not only with your cool voice (which reminds me of Willie Nelson's) but with adding two tracks of sax to the horn section and that ultra cool flute solo.

When I get all the contribution to the song in my email, and start mixing it all together, it's like I get to know everyone involved a little better. It's something I enjoy very much doing, and I guess I'll go for another one next year as well:)

	Enjoyed wow, lots of nice things in there. Love the we are the world type feel to this. Ya that is a brilliant organ sound. Enjoyed Birdman's delightful lead guitar solo. I just have to point out that it is not me playing the solo on the acoustic guitar - we had the pleasure of having Yeman A. Al-Rawi - (Birdman Wayne) take care of that part this year:)

Thanks for the opportunity to add to your collab. Such a solid tune, combining the best of many of MJers folk rock attributes/roots. Love the "sober up is hard to do" line. And "manageable fights." Thanks for all the work this takes, the many hours of pre and post production. And for all the love.

Maybe the next MJ reunion can be in Norway? I've always wanted to visit those gorgeous fjords.

In a way, you gave me the best Xmas present ever, in that re-discovering my brass instruments I realise that I have really missed playing them, & Thanks to you, I'll certainly be looking to re-vitilising my poor old 'chops' in the new year!

You saved the day when you knocked on the door and told me you could play the brass parts:) And you sure have it in you still. In fact you inspired me to try a little trumpet playing myself. I recently got myself a new one from ebay, but haven't really blown to much air through it since I got it.
