The Road

Description
Bass based contemporary blues (midiKeys bass). It is a game of rhythms. If I can get more creative, sometime, I'll come up with more varieties of melodies!

Until then, enjoy!

Ah yes... turn it up!

Lyrics
Let me tell you about my road
I'm walkin' all the time
If you can't see me that's just 'cause
I've been gone for miles

You know I'm walkin' a long time
Long time for payin' dues
And when I see you there
I know you will be to...

Let me tell you about my road
I'm walkin' all the time
If you can't see me that's just 'cause
I've been gone for miles

If you ask me how I need to go
'Cause I don't know
Move it on ahead
Each dusty step on this dirty road

Good post Doug
I'm really enjoying your recent posts - there's a lightness in the production which evades me when I'm mixing, and you're working with some really fresh ideas (albeit in some established genres). This could have come from the early 70s.

Really love this!

Polish
Simple, but has a certain polish to it. Blues should be played this way, so when you play for an audience you can add or remove guitar melody bits as the feeling goes. Might be cool as an open collab if some of our other bluesy players want to add a chorus or too!

Take Care
