Description
This song is for Feter since he want's to come to Montana someday. I think this one has a real Montana vibe....

I promise, this is the last of the JAM tracks I'll be uploading. I've been spamming the site lately with my recordings with the Zoom H2. I've been having so much fun with it I can't help myself.

This one was a random clip of a song a friend and I were playing that was mostly not good (on my part), so I clipped a portion of it that sounded good to post.

I thought the combo of insruments sounded cool and thought I would share it.

The rhythm guitar is a baritone guitar tuned to some version of G I think.

The slide guitar is a random chrome dobro tuned to Open G.

Rhythm Guitar: Jim
Slide Guitar: Brian (me)

I don't know how to play in open G. I was surprised to get something good out of it.

P.S. The pic is one I lifted off our local chamber of commerce website. It is of the Yellowstone River and 'Sacrifice Cliff' outside the town where I live.

dont stop!
simple jams are the bread and butter of every musician!
i loved the way this one roamed around the soundscape like a warm summer breeze through the tall midwestern grasses.
great tune. live, rough, raw and talented.

The now
I like the live sound, I also have a Zoom H2 and love it. Honest and immediate. Captures the fleeting moments of inspiration better than any NAshville agent. Live on fearlessly.

thank you
Richard for you comment. Yes the H2 is awesome.

Sweet!
Is that slide on the Guild D-40? I have a 1968 D-40 and its the only guitar I have held onto since I bought it new. This is a real nice acoustic jam. Live music like this has so much energy. Keep up the great work.

True...
I've been a few places trying to 'get away' from home (montana), It surprised me that there was an excellent music scene right here after all the traveling i did..... I dig montana now, but I could stand for a little more humidity.

Organic soul...
...is what it sounded like to me. That makes it good from front to back, top to bottom and mostly, inside towards out...

I've been enjoying your zoomful spams, Brian. Thanks for hangn it out for grabs.

Very nice

Breezy!
I'm jealous. The only time I tried playing slide guitar was when I was learning White Zombie's "More Human Than Human!" Seriously, this conjures up images of people sitting in rocking chairs out on an open porch with a gentle summer's breeze rolling by. I'm also jealous of your H2. I've got an H2 on my birthday list so we will see. Great jam Brian!

I love the slide here!!
My best friend live half his life in montana, what you`ve described here musically is what he`s always been about.. I watched his disco florida bride go up there and come back a MOMMA!! down to earth and loving nature.. its a special place! what were you using as a slide.. a resonator? or a regular acoustic? nice feeling here.. thanx!!
