Description
This is a mix that is both 'earthy' and cosmic in extent. There are basic percussive sounds and ambience to make your heart hurt. There is an aura of primitiveness and what lies underneath.

The whip of all ages being brandished by Whomever-you-choose.

The mix is made with EnergyXT 2.5 holding together various soft synths and effects, including Zebra2, CMplay, Voxengo Stereo Touch, Voxengo Recorder, but not limited to just these.

Enjoy, but please let me know what you think/feel about this mix.

Defintely engaging
and also disruptive to any sense of calm that is suggested by the ambient overtones.I like the organic/mechanical blend and your choice of textures - especially the high frequency squelchy percussion.

Hi Bud.....
This piece is an experiment in mixing diverse sounds in a way that should be modern but different.

I appreciate your thoughts on this piece. They help a lot with what my approach will be to other tunes I work on.

Take care.

Hi Kenta....
Thank you for the wonderful complements. What more could anyone ask for than support such as this.

some of the sounds seemed risky but I'll never learn until i try this type of combinations.

Take care.

Hi Ziti.......
I try to make my mixes different, and depending on the sounds I make with the synths, I then fix an arrangement around them. It's as Forest Gump once said his mother had said, but differently, 'Music's like a box of chocolates'. You never know what's going to come out. Or at least I don't a lot of the time.

Thanks for stopping by and take care.

wow
Very cool paul. I love the contrast between the lazy synths underneath and the whipping rhythms coming in and out over the top. Totally kept my attention. Very good choice of sounds. a great composition.

Hi Kassia....
Thanks for listening to my latest detour into sounds from the 'Brownian' part of my mind.

I'm happy that it was enough like music for you to listen until the end. Sometimes I worry about listeners starting to listen but then turning the tune off before the end. I never really know how any piece will effect those who listen.

Thanks for paying attention to the content. It means a lot.

Take care.

Hi Linda......
Thanks for appreciating my bit of madness and 'letting my hair down'.

I'm glad you thought that I'd hit the spot with this mix.

Take care.
