Description
Cheeto wrote this song - He emailed me from Iraq and asked me to do the final mixdown. We work together at a university and this was on our shared laptop. He is in the Army Reserves and is deployed with the Trunk Monkeys in Bagdad. Great use of university property, huh? His comments from his submission are: "The song title rolled around in my head for about a year or two when finally I got it done. It's about knowing that God loves even someone like me! Thanks to Hunter Ross (for the lead vocals) and Awigze for the mixdown. This is one of my favorite songs i've done."
When I received the project much of the song existed already in the form of loops. I think the rhythm guitar work was from a royalty free site that cheeto came up with and recognized that it would work with the tune. Hunter did do some of the guitar work I believe. I added in the strings and pencilled in a guitar solo or two. Not being a guitar player I don't think the style works with the overall song, but I am a Pat Metheney fan and was loosely thinking of his styling when I worked it in.

this is really good. Who's playing what? Full spread out sound, and the punchy bass line turns this into a real head bopper. The vocals work very well also.
