Description
This started out life as a track that Tony, (Soundhound), posted as an open Collab back in April of last year over on iCompositions called "Track Jumper". I was visiting Tony's page one day and noticed it so I decided to see if I could do something with it just because of the challenge.
Tony's original track version of Track Jumper is at
http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=86959
if you want to check it out.
What I did was figure out the BPM and key for the song and then added a Bass line to it. Then I augmented the drums Tony used with another set and added some drum fills and cymbals. Well, I couldn't just leave it alone after that so I added a few more things. Like Rhythm Guitars, some Lead Guitar riffs and fills, Organ, Synths, Electric Piano and what ever else I could throw at it.
By the way, that wailing screaming Guitar part that runs throughout the song is Tony beating the bejesus out of his guitar. Man what a sound he laid down for this, it's killer
Whether what I did is actually an improvement on what Tony did on the original is still in question, but while retaining Tony's original work, this one is different. And most important of all if was fun messing around in Tony's "musical sandbox" for a while.
So here tis, Soundhound and sloparts, together again, for the first time doing "Track Jumper on Aisle 3".
Thanks Tony, for letting me play with your song, it was a lot of fun to do.
Thanks for listening
Ed

sound you've got going here. I just love what you two have done with this; just fantastic, the sounds you produced, love that wailing guitar, cheers M
