Tecmo Superbowl 2009 w/ Dead End (MJRF 2004)

Description
Ages ago I got together with some youngsters, who called themselves "Dead End". They write some catchy tunes, but strangely without bass, so I pulled out my wash tub bass and played some notes. The result was pleasing to the ear, but I thought something was missing. With the MJ Reunion Fest taking place I thought I had an occasion for dusting off the old harmonium and adding some keyboard parts.

And here, boys and girls, is the result.

Now if you'll excuse me, the wife is serving tea, so I must be off again.

I am...
...a bigtime football fan...this would be great for the halftime show...move over Bruce...

Agree with Tom above: one of the best SuperBowls I've ever seen.

Sorry your Titans didn't make it this year...I liked them...

thanks
I actually prefer college football. When I feel like seeing a game I drive up to Knoxville for seeing the Vols. Or just for the tailgate parties.

And I'll take on Bruce any day of the week. I bet his drummer doesn't even have a washboard!

Pretty funny
0:57 was when I laughed out loud. I've led a pretty sheltered life here, and am somewhat embarrassed to admit I've never heard this side of you. Needless to say, I'll be mining this page for a bit.
Fine song!

unfortunately
this track is only a remix of something that dates back years, and I've only come out of retirement for this. There is no new material to be expected from the man from McMinn county.

What a ride this is. A fun track, had me laughing all the way through. That said, you've got a hell of a good washtub bass there my friend. Cool track Vic

I almost fell off my chair at 00:17

Totally unexpected burst of thrash. Man, would you do a bass part for me some time?

This is excellent - great groove and hilarious lyrics. Love the sounds - nice keys, and good overall production. Very cool. Nicely done. Peace.

Welcome to the MJRF Vic
I have some young friends who eschew bass also - DYKO is the name. Interesting electronic music. This is interesting stuff.

Excellent!
Took me straight to a Devo concert. I loved how you integrated the (actual?) game sounds into the music.
