When I first heard of the Reunion, I thought that I wouldn't submit anything. Afterall, I have only been here for 3 months... asking questions like, what is that number next to my name and why do some people have that little note next to their name and others don't. But then I thought, well I may be a newbie, but I wasn't born yesterday. So I thought about just re-submitting my first tune, Sandbox. But it didn't really say anything or address the spirit of the reunion. Then a few weeks ago Bug67 posted a forum about needing baby sounds for a project that he was doing and insisted that the sounds come from a fellow MacJammer. I had already submitted Legacy for the Living previously and I used Canned Baby Sounds (from the Mac Loop Library) and had also thought that it would be much more personal to record our new grandson Eddie B, now 5 months old. I emailed Bug67 and told him that as soon as our grandson was over, I would crank up the software and warm up the microphone. In the end we had about 13 minutes of various baby sounds, Grumpy Baby, Hungry Baby, Fed Baby and Happy Baby. I then edited that down to 6 minutes and sent him the file. It is not yet known if Bugs has used the file for his project but it greased the wheels for a remix for this song that I humbly resubmit now to the MacJam Reunion Festival.
