Meditation Pour La Cosmos

This is a meditative song for the Cosmos. It's Krishna chanting without the Chant, or Chanting in Vacuum, which is probably the best place for some types of chanting. It could even be miming chant.

Some may want to meditate to this but the soundscape scares me in places. Don't be operating machinery or driving whilst listening. Preferably listen when your out walking with the neighbourhood sheep or cattle. Even better if the wildlife is deaf (through natural as opposed to man made causes, of course).

I'm going now, so you can listen in (or out of) peace without me 'going on'.

As always, read the label and let me know if you have any thoughts you want to share.

Hi Linda........
I'm glad you were taken somewhere by listening to this mix. I hope that the weather was OK for you.

I'm rather partial to evolving pieces, so I'm happy that someone listens and finds something they like in some of them.

Take care.

I love the tinkling bells just below the cosmic sweep. Great sounds. I just uploaded an ambient piece (TUNDRA) when you have time.

Hi Daniel.......
I have been listening, off and on, to your TUNDRA piece all day. it's amazing, as I've commented where the mix lives.

The tinkling sounds were what drew me into this mix. They had to be made into a mix. They were crying out for multitracking.

Take care.

concept of a song with a lot of depth and feel to it. If I could suggest something is on the bells maybe it could be played more spaced out.

Hi edpdx....
Thanks for stopping by.

I'll see what I can do with the bell track, in the way you suggest. I'm always open to suggestions.

Take care.

Nillions and nillions.
Deep space has a beauty to it. It is also lonely and terrifying. You've managed to capture the latter here. The piece is appropriately scary. That bell alone is forbidding. Why is that? I don't think this would work for the Cosmos series. The viewers would turn off the set and scurry for cover. I'm a big fan of your space music, not to mention envious. Please do more.

Hi Ex.....
This was one mix that I wasn't sure would work too. It has elements that are a little unusual or way out, whichever way you see them. I always try to make things sound human but sometimes the sounds are more experimental.

If you want to know how I put together my mixes, drop me a note.

I'm glad you get something out of these pieces I produce. Check out my latest, EBGBeez. It's more scarey than this piece.

Take care.

Ommmm my God!
I couldn't resist.
It's like solar alarm tinkling, ringing, trying to awake a vast being from his/her/its fitful slumber. Not sure I want his/her/its to awake better his/her/its sleeps.
Not sure about your abrupt cut off at the end. A fade might have worked well there but I enjoyed this Paul.
Good work.

Hi Charle.....
I'm going through an 'alarm' phase with my electronic music. I don't know what it is apart from using different sounds and effects.

I soemtimes don't know how to end a piece. Usually I fade away but this one must have escaped my notice. Oooops.

Thanks for stopping by.

Take care.

You create these ever so cool places to visit
The universe can be seen from a multitude of perspectives and you are so adept at catching so many of them. Wonderful work Paul.

Hi Doug.....
I'm glad you enjoy my musical soundscapes, awash with a general colour but with a few highlights, scattered around the musical canvas.

Take care.

I agree with the warning label
perhaps a bit too scary for meditation - but a fine listen. I like the movement in the deep background.

The journey this piece can take someone on may not be quite meditative. I agree with you. Unless they use this to learn how to meditate whilst there is ambient background noise or something they have to 'shut out'.

Take care.
