Description
When I found MJ

2004, on December 13th, I read a note on Swedish MacWorld.com, stating that there was a place called MacJams where you could "store your music" (!) no limit on how much music you could store. I found this interesting because at the time I was a bit worried over what would happen to my recorded music had anything happened to my hard disks.

That same day I joined MacJams and soon found it to be more than a storage place for songs .. other members were to be listening to my music too! .. wow that's really cool .. that's whay I was recording after all .. since this was in the end of 2004 I only posted one song that year..

So now I took a look at other recordings I had made that year .. before knowing anything of MJ or online music publishing. I found this little tune to be quite charming .. so it will be my contribution to the MJ Reunion Festival (class 2004). The song was meant to be a comforting tune and the name was 'Såren läker' which means 'The Wounds Are Healing Up'.

Good Title
Wow, what beautiful guitar tones on this one. To me almost nothing can beat the sound of steel and wood when done by a master.

Enjoyed this
like the Going to Philadelphia feel by Mark Kopfler, but it has that feeling in the description. Terrific description
to go along with the wonderful (great lower bass I must say) sound!

Way to Go!

One of the things....
...that I enjoy so much about your guitar playing, Johannes, is that they have the feel of a song with words... I can almost imagine the sung lyrics... This has that quality... You also have the settled strength of character not to let your considerable skill tempt you into overplaying or overornamenting for its own sake... You let the tune be the tune...

You were one of the wonders of my early, discovery filled weeks on MacJams. I miss those days when I couldn't believe how much varied and astonishingly cool music there was in the world...

I miss these days too .. we were so eager .. it felt so new and interesting .. and so much time flew away MJ:ing .. wouldn't unfortunately be possible for me today, but it was a good thing to have MJ while having the time ..

Hej
Lovely playing, Johannes! But I guess that goes without saying.

I remember being surprised by the offer of unlimited free uploads on MacJams too. It seemed to be too good to be true. Little did I guess how much more would come out of it!
