Lifetime Samba

Description
I had just got my first Strat. (I really wanted a whammy bar) I was sitting around, noodling on the guitar, while my wife was watching something on the Lifetime network. I worked up this romantic melody. It's old style samba, with a warm electric guitar and a dash of whammy bar flavor.

Good guitar fresh out of the box
Being a Les Paul user for 30 years, I was impressed by the playability and various tones you can get. I had heard that they tend to be a bit noisy, but seemed minimal. I like it.

Like how this
plays against my ears from the get go. Love the Tango feel ! Really has a terrific character, maybe one of the best of it's style here! Lots of melodic and beat content, in a terrific cultural setting!

I do so appreciate you taking the time to have a listen. I did want to present a classic sound both in style and tempo.

I love to hear it
Since I listened, with great delight mind you, to some of the tunes you have, I'd like to find the song you mentioned. Based on the quality and super high level performances that has got to be an amazing song.

Very true...
...to the genre. Top notch production. Great use of stereo imaging. I'd be really interested to see the production notes on this. You know, software, mics (if any), synths, etc.
Good job.

All the details
First is the new Strat I picked up. Used the #2 setting between the neck and middle pickups. Tone Port uX2. Not sure about which of the many amp speaker combos.
I used both Acoustic and classical guitars. A Takamine jumbo with the cool tube PU. The classical Martin is mic'd with a B1-pro condenser going through an artpac tube pre. The bass is a squire jazz going straight into Garageband. Drums and strings all via Garageband triggered with my Korg M1 workstation.

Thanks for the kind words and support

Perfection
Just a stutter or two my friend, indecision here is so cool. You are so in the pocket on your phrasing.
Nice seventh chord voicings...I suggest you try cramming some notes into too small a space every once in a while...
