Description
One of the fondest memories I had as a child were the family drives going to the country to our cabin.

Your single-minded... ... devotion to your craft, Bill, leaves you in a realm of your own... Your playing and composing abilities steadily stretch and grow, and your ability to capture the sound of an acoustic guitar is top notch... If I was going to suggest a direction, just comparatively, I'd say that to these ears your acoustic playing is well ahead of your string and orchestral sounds.... Just in terms of organic sound, fluidity, and emotion that comes through... That's not surprising, because your playing is honed on decades of practice... I'm just saying that that's the one place I can think of where there's any gap in what you do... Ed Check out my latest song called Next Time Around (w/jiguma)

The sanctuary of Family Lovely flute on the intro. Fabulous guitar work, controlled and energetic, in the main body of the piece. I did miss the flute, thinking it would play a more prominent role in the main section, after its very nice opening line. The final section is perfectly crafted, so sweet and true. A wonderfully balanced, thoughtful, calming track. Well done. Check out my latest song called Forge A New Life (MJRF)

Sweet... Memories captured in the strings. You have such a way of expressing warm emotions in your playing, Bill. I can feel the wistful feelings of remembering, the excitement of a child on an adventure, and imagining you looking out the car window at the trees rushing by. Beautiful....:-) Check out my latest song called Sweet Grace

Nice capture of that traveling down the road kind of feeling. I can almost see the scenery going by. Lovely accents with the understated orchestral accompaniment. And such playing - wow!!! (as a picker I'm a wee bit jealous but mostly smiling in admiration :o) Thanks Bill, Doug Check out my latest song called Desiree (MJ Space Race 2009)
