Description

I first put up this song at macjams in 2004, but originally made this one way back in 1985:) I also did a version in 2006 which I put up here. And of course there is the original vinyl single recording from 1990 with my former band 'jims riff' here.

For the MacJams Reunion Festival I have tossed all of the ingredients on the floor and altered them some... This is what I ended up with when I put it all together again...

I find this recording to be a great listen, because I hear a thread of your history running through it... I will say that you've grown from this place... you are more subtle and nuanced in your productions, and performances... so this is also a great way to see how far you've come... but I still recognize the Thor passion... and that acoustic solo is to die for...

At last!
Thor, this is really worth the wait. We've had 13 days of fans chanting "Thod-di, Thod-di, Thod-di!" and at last they can relax and groove along.

This has all the bits I love about your soulful tunes Thor - excellent rhythm section, great vocals and fantastic soloing (not to mention the B3 (anything with a B3 instantly goes to the top of my list).

Fantastic!

I just wish we'd thought of doing a big "end of fest" jam :(

When I hear artists at MJ I get feeling of various moods and styles of the musicians here.
I think what I appreciate of your style is the directness in which you communicate to us Mjammers.

Especially in your lyrics, it's a real nice personal flair. Maybe up front personal more so than any artist's I've heard here at MJ. Love the upfront feeling of the hammond organ, the Carlos Santanna feel but of course you style is so apparent.

Way to go!

	Hi Thor The 335 sounds great on this. I was surprised when the nylon strung guitar came in but I liked how it contrasted with the Gibson.
