a Gifted writer
I love the chord that you land on when you sing "still alive"... and how that works with the melody... funny how such a small touch can turn the whole work in the right direction... you've crafted a wonderful song... simple and direct, yet with such gravity and weight.... poignant & deceptively hopeless... there is a stark contrast between your light airy vocal... (your voice sounds as if you could be delivering light love song)... but underneath it's a dark exstitential thesis...

a small suggestion... I think the most brilliant line is "The end comes slow"... it is such a loaded line... and sums the emotion of this song up so completely... I would musically tag this song on the way out with that line repeated over and over...and take advantage of everything that this line delivers

Great guitar work, singing, song structure, and lyrics. This reminds me a bit of something Art Garfunkel would have done. Wonderfully rhythmic ending idea, though I am not a fan of fade-outs... would have preferred a final conclusive chord. Very heartfelt, like you were telling the truth from experience... well sung.
