Description

This is the first of two songs i've been working on about shacking up with a girl for the first time, you know where your both trying to figure out how the deal works out. We've had a couple "chinook" type warm days that got me thinking about Spring, and for some reason Spring always reminds me of my first couple apartments/relationships. So anyway I started this particular tune a while back and then let it sit because I couldn't get it the way I wanted it. I was trying to do a Rancid type beat/melody/story with Minutement type guitar, where the bass falls in and out etc. Anyway I think I got it the way I want it now so here you go. The second song in the set will be along in a bit.

for xmass i got one of those fangdangled little ipod players that has the ability to fade in at the appointed hour and wake me from my slumbers. I would bet, that if I'm not out of the shower by the one minute mark, I'm probably dead :-) Need to be out in time to hear the solo, which is excellent btw. Absolutely love the vocal parts in the beginning. Too cool you

contrast between your voice, that has nothing agressive, and the punkish music. It gives the feeling of the urgency of the working day as something somewhat external to the character in the song, who seems still half in his interrupted dream. Maybe I'm dreaming this up.

I'm a Christian gramma to 4 uv da wurld's cutest grandchildren. I came to this site to see free pichurs of kittehs to use as refrence for mah illustrations for a story book about a Cat. The good new is that the publishers accepted the book with MY illustrations. yay! now starts the editing. That's da authors job, I get to keep makin illustrations to fit the storee.
