Description
As spring is rapidly approaching I thought I might do a meditative piece and here it is. This theme can obviously be developed and probably will be, at some stage.

Let me know what you think. All views accepted.

Hi Daniel.......
I thought that 'Ambienteer' would be a good name for what I do. I've been trying to come up with a name, and this just came to me last week.

The piece is meditative because there are no 'fiddly' or distracting sections. I will develop this type of music as the year progresses, as I want to complete a CD for my mother to chill to whilst she recovers from her ongoing illness.

This piece is the rough draft mix.

Take care.

Like all you do,
...this track of ambient soundscapes offers a totally new perspective to the notion of spring. I just started reading the prequels to "Dune" and much of your music would serve those extraterresrial landscapes well, indeed. It is always a pleasure to listen to your mind!
Peace.

Hi Paul.........
Dune is an ideal 'picture' for a good deal of my music. The experiences I had in the Gulf region and the Middle East, including the mountains of northern Yemen, where it is still tribal, all give me good inspiration for my music.

Dune is a first class series. Vast in concept and content.

Take care.

Meditating on spring.
Beautiful piece, sir. Since you said "all views accepted," here's mine. It sounds more like space to me than an earthly ode to spring. I think it's the second chord that gives it a serious tone, and the tentative bass tones, whereas spring is light and airy. But what do I know? Regardless of the theme, the music is very nice, and doesn't really need anything else.

Hi Ex.......
I know what you mean, and you are correct, about how much my piece portrays spring but some springs are just bad, with unspringlike tendencies or fierce as opposed to the birth of the new, and this piece is the 'hint' of what is to come, and the forecast is varied.

As I mention to Daniel, above, this piece marks a baseline for a series of meditative or chill pieces on nothing in particular but everything in general, especially where you recognise something!!

Take care.

Paul

Nice_______

I like your approach your use of synth sounds. It's not "Ray Lynch" however it's close and I appreciate you sharing your music.

Hi mvh9591......
It's good of you to swing by, listen and leave an encouraging comment or two. I've not personally heard of Ray Lynch but if he's the guitarist, etc. that I've Googled/Wiki'd then I may be digging some of his music out to listen to. It's always good to hear about other musicians and on MJ's we all hear about so many people who are making music, some more famous than others.

Take care.

Spring
The sun is shining here so this track is very appropriate. With is softly building themes and string like utterances it sounds sublime. Have you thought of a distant train like heat beat like rhythm to underscore it. Gentle rolling in and out. Just an idea.

Hi TB....
I'll have a think about your thoughts on this piece. I'll also have to listen to it again to remember what I did.

Thanks for listening and commenting.
