Description
A five-acap-tracks-tribute to Manhattan Transfer; I produced it together with two singers: Elizabeth Parsons from England, who did the female vocals and Stephan Reiser, Bass, from Munich. I'm trying to color the middle range with an unobstrusive tenor.
Music: The Fantasticks, Arrangement: Manhattan Transfer
Vocals: Elizabeth Parsons, Stephan Reiser, Andreas Herrmann (Dirigent)
Production: Andreas Herrmann (Dirigent)
I published a first version on icomp a couple of days ago.
This version for MacJams has a few small technical improvements ...

Lyrics
Try to remember the kind of September
When life was young, and oh! so mellow;
Try to remember the kind of September
When grass was green, and grain was yellow,
Try to remember the kind of September
When you were a tender and callow fellow;
Try to remember, and if you remember
Then follow, follow, follow.
Try to remember when life was so tender
That no one wept except the willows.
Try to remember when life was so tender
That love was an ember about to billow.
Try to remember the kind of September
When life was young, and oh! so mellow;
Try to remember the kind of September
When grass was green, and grain was yellow,
Try to remember the kind of September
When you were a tender and callow fellow;
Try to remember, and if you remember
Then follow, follow, follow.
Deep in December it's nice to remember
Although you know the snow will follow,
Deep in December it's nice to remember
The fire of September that made us mellow.
Deep in December our hearts should remember
And follow, follow, follow.
When life was young, and oh! so mellow;
Try to remember the kind of September
When grass was green, and grain was yellow,
Try to remember the kind of September
When you were a tender and callow fellow;
Try to remember, and if you remember
Then follow, follow, follow.
Try to remember when life was so tender
That no one wept except the willows.
Try to remember when life was so tender
That love was an ember about to billow.
Try to remember the kind of September

Try to remember the kind of September
When grass was green, and grain was yellow,
Try to remember the kind of September
When you were a tender and callow fellow;

Then follow, follow, follow.
Deep in December it's nice to remember

Deep in December our hearts should remember
And follow, follow, follow.
