BollyWill (The Gupta Mix)

Description
This is a mix that could be used in a Bollywood extravagantza, methinks.

I'd be happy to know what you think.

Using the Krishna synth seems apt in some way with this mix. Many more to come.

I love the pure energy in this! The synth and tabla (?) sound work very well together.....a beautiful flow of high vibratory energy :)

Hi ML.....
Over the last month or so my mum has been ill so I wanted to put together a dynamic mix that summed up my mums previous energy and was also topical, hence this piece.

I'm glad you enjoyed the synths and tabla. I tried to bring out the dynamism of the drummers hands and fingers as the sound was played via the trigger.

Take care.

Hi Shay....
I thought you might enjoy this, especially after hearing your latest upload. (I will be commenting on that mix later).

If you've seen the tabla players live you'll know of the tremendous energy that they invoke whilst playing, and the way the percussive effect turns into a mantra (almost) as the music progresses.

My mum was that dynamic energy and I hope she will be again, very soon.

The Bollywood/will hint was meant, as Daniel spotted, to be topical in an 'in your face' way.

The mix of sounds took a while to put together, as dad had the cricket on so I could hear the West Indian commentators in the background whilst mixing.

Take care.

Hi Daniel........
I'm so glad you liked the sounds in this piece. As I've said above, I tried for dynamism and hoped that I'd hit the mark.

You know what mums are like, the backbone of the family and always striving to keep things on an even keel.

And of course the topicality of the piece. Ha ha. I couldn't resist once I had heard the sounds available on the soft synths that I used.

Take care.
