Description
This is an older one and something different! I wanted to try and work with loops. So I did. Almost the whole track was written using sounds from Wusikstation; there is just one sound from Albino and that's it. So it's basically an exercise in loop composition. You might describe it as Industrial Techno? I don't know what it is!

Yeah, Industrial
it is. Little machines building bigger machines and emitting happy drones at each completion of a certain part. They are going to take over the world. And then when they reach consciousness they want to step out in a group dance just for fun. Leave conquest for another day. Even for machines, life is too short. Thanks.

Industrial Madness
very cool little tune. I like Char's description....good visuals. Reminds me of the game Pit Droids (http://www.lucaslearning.com/products/pitdroids.htm).

Sounds ..

.. quite Peter Gabriel/U2-ish. Could have a Peter Gabriel/U2-ish vocal over the top too... I found myself humming the verses of "I still haven't found what I'm looking for" to it.

Solid upfront mixing, lovely choice of sounds, organic and synthetic: catchy pop tune. I like. I would spin it simply under Pop genre myself... or Pop (alternative)... industrial is more gritty and metallic in my mind.

Nicely put together...
Reminds me a lot of a piece I just did called "Mystical Eyes" - perhaps some of the same samples. A few years ago this would have been called Industrial... sort of Throbbing Gristle territory. But don't worry too much about labels... it's good and that's all that counts!

Good use
of loops here with enough change to keep it from becoming monotonous.

I'm supposed to be doing an industrial/post industrial piece myself at the moment but I'm getting nowhere with it. Ah well, now I can listen to this for awhile instead ;-)

Stay well!
