Description

A good old American folk song.
This version owes quite a bit to Patrick Sky's version, I think recorded 1965.
Many will recognize where I ripped off the drum part!

you're a natural
I know you don't know how to feel about your vocals but the reason that you are unsure about them is the reason that they work - your vox are the antithesis of slick. They are just natural, "singing cowboy" vocals and they work because you have a naturally pleasant voice. So anyway this is great stuff dude. Love the fiddling and the jangle and the aggressive drumming. Really like the fact that the last song you did was a metal tune and now you're playing Americana. Makes me wonder what's next...

	thanx man glad you liked... I try to have the vocals match my normal speaking voice because I have a horror of appearing pretentious / phony. There is a temptation to put on a phony accent for this sort of thing (you're lucky to have a natural twang!) I have one more folk tune coming down the pike. then probably go back to rockin' a bit.
