Description
I'm in more of a performing than recording mode, lately...which is a bit frustrating. Lots of tunes to record. But it is what it is...so I'm submitting this electric ditty from the days of analog (amazing...seems so long ago) just to "stay in touch", around here.
Absolute Zero was a band I played in, back in the '90s. We played out quite a bit and, thanks to the drummer's "drum cat" trigger/synth/sampler rig, had some interesting sounds for a 3 piece band with a lead vocalist.
This is a tune about trying to do "what it takes" and the uncertainty that comes with it. Time's passed since recording it...and I've developed a strong trust in the power of good in life (though it does get hard, sometimes...doesn't it?). But that wasn't as present, back then.
As I said: it's an analog recording. Hissssss. The structure's straightforward and basic. Some glitches here and there (it was a tune from our demo tape). I think Scott, the vocalist, really shines, here.
Be interested in hearing your comments...as this isn't what I usually post, nowadays.
BTW: I labeled it "Explicit" because of two mentions of "the word". Born of frustration...
