Description
I'm sorry if I'm posting too often or the content is boringly similar or similarly boring, but I've got to get this all out of my system (as opposed to the solar system). I have had far too many ideas just lately and so have been writing/recording/mixing for about three or four weeks almost none stop and I hope things are slowing down a little bit.

This mix is space ambient but with a hint of voices. I hope that the voices makes this worth listening too if you're fed up with my other stuff.

As always please let me know your thoughts on any aspect of my music, or anything else you want.

Hi Shay......
It's good to know you appreciate this type of soundscape and that you understood what I was trying to do.

All the PAD sounds were 'doubled up' to thicken them up. This is the first time that I have really played around with this, and some extra reverb was added too.

There will be more to follow.

Take care.

Hi Daniel.......
I just thought that my creative surge may annoy people with the frequency of my uploads but I'll let others be the judge of that from now on.

Thanks for your encouragement.

Take care.

Hi Linda........
Your thoughts are very apt for this piece of music. I seem to be moving towards chill and meditational mixes. It's something I've been trying to do for a year at least.

Take care.

Hi....
Thanks for your kind words. I've been putting the basics to at least 3 different pieces every day for over three weeks now, so I'm sure I'll slow down any time soon....or my hard drive will be filled. One or the other....and of course, more to follow this one.

Take care.

Apology accepted!
Too many ideas? Ha! Well, like I always say, that's the kind of problem you WANT to have. It's like having too many friends, or too much money. I like what you've done with the mix/master here. It fills the physical space much more so than some of your recent spaceworks. This is just the kind of piece that I wish I could produce. I think it's a beauty. Majestic, patient, deep, thoughtful. No need to slow down when you can produce sonic wonders like this. Long live your obsession!

Hi Duane..........
The way I put this together that was different was by doubling up on the stereo pairs from the pad tracks. The soft synth used for this was a free one that I'd used before but had forgotten about. I'll let you know what it was called when I can find the folder that it's in on my drive.

I also used more reverb effects on both the final stereo working track and the Master track. This all added to the space/space effect.

I'll keep 'em coming for the forseeable future.

Take care.

Don't apologize...
This is the perfect place to post and post and post... Get those ideas out and get the feedback. ... I never tire of telling you that you are the master at this style/genre and you haven't disappointed this time, either. Your work is always so inventive and well-planned/thought out. It is impossible to take your creations lightly. Very nice with the voices...(Where were you when 2001:A Space Odyssey was being scored?)
Peace.

Hi Paul.....
I think I was starting my piano lessons when 2001 came out. I remember reading the book and going to see the film at the cinema. The soundtrack they used was the second one as the original one I believe was written but not used by Kubrick. I think.

The voices were an afterthought, to try and give things a little more 'edge'.

More are on their way as soon as I've typed this and pressed the 'Post Comment' button.

Take care.
