Description
I was listening to our very own That 80s Boy the other day, and got inspired, because I've never tried the whole 80s synth pop before. This is my take on it, with a few more modern timestretch tricks, beatcut algos and FX chains that they didn't have back then ;)

And a big shout out to Mark Koch for gettin into my headbrainface with those smooth synth stylez of his! Hope you enjoy it! This song will be sold to a film company that produces instructional videos, so I have to deny you guys the download, for legal reasons. sorry...

This is excellent and perfect for instructional video. I also write copy for training videos as well as local advertisements, and this sounds perfect for that use, as well as, just being a great listen..

This is really cool and I can see the
"How It's Made" footage happening with the guy with the calm reassuring voice explaining what's going on. My son watches a lot of technical shows and much of the music is neat trance dance stuff like this. Though this goes a few steps beyond for sure. Well done.
Do you have a link to your scoring work?

Pretty Killer
I don't know, it has a slight 80's vibe with the bass sound, but it actually has a sweet retro nu-jazz vibe. If you've ever heard of a group called Four80East, they do awesome groove music like this. Anyway, excellent production, sounds, a complete package. Love the tight drums and the guitar is really tasty. Very entertaining to listen too. Top notch stuff. I really wish I could get a download of this, as it would be listened to much.

80s?
I think in the 80s they would have used those hyped up DX-7 pianos, instead of the real Rhodes sound.

The sound manipulation is pretty cool. Nicely grooving track!

Very Cool
Must be the Norwegian climate. loved drums and bass particularly liked the brass hits on the beat. And the disassembly of the beat with the broken tape effect.

You make
me wonder what the 80's music would have been like with time stretching, logic, and all the really cool tools we have now... would have been a wild ride... that is for sure!

Your drum work is outstanding... Wishing this was a download... Nicely done!
