Description

This is what happens when you get three long time friends together that have had a wee bit too much to drink and think they can compose a song and sing it!

Jim travels the world and came up with most of the lyrics.
Tim is blessed with the most talent amongst us. He filled in the whistles and piano. You'll be hearing more of his works shortly I promise!
Lastly I struggled through the guitar part in an alcohol haze! If you listen hard you can hear me laughing in few places!

So - let me get this straight
this is a real group I gather - but this sounds like a studio recording with added audience - though to very good effect. Am I right? Does this mean that you've pu together a band and will be taking your show on the road - or just using it as an excuse to eat and drink. Either way this is a really fun tune that you guys put together. Or is it even possible that his is all you Mark?

Bud an artist never reveals their secrets... but I'm not an artist...

Here is what happened. We got all this music stuff I've accumulated and I had these two buddies show up and after a few drinks it was like "hey we should record something". Meanwhile upstairs was my mother-in-law, wife and kid and some friends. So we started recording guitar and vocals.

So ya it was "studio recorded" but we were so loose it could have been in a bar. I decided to make it sound like a bar because we had to do several retakes due to the laughing going on both downstairs and upstairs.

Us on the road!? I think we would be like the grunge challenge where we'd be the first band to get thrown out of the place!

This is great fun, and most definitely put me in a good mood! Just got back from Ireland, where I certainly had a few Guinness, although no lamb stew this trip!
