Guitars of Karmanic Doom From the very beginning, the guitar sounds pounce on and declare doom, stomping out any signs of lightened hopes. (harmonic glistenig of strings at the beginning and later throughout the piece, seemingly representing hope, are immediately shunted with the gnashing of guitars). Life snuffers...meaning robbers, dashing a purposeful existence. All we can do is just trudge...trudge..trudge to our ultimate doom. The doom-mood created here, echoes the constant and steady, feeling of despair. A life that one has to grind out day after day,.. heads.. down..LEFT..RIGHT.....onward..forward...LEFT..RIGHT...LEFT...RIGHT....oh the agony....is this all there is?...... Your vocals, like a sharp Scythe, cut out and damn, any dreams one may have of an escape from an empty, fruitless, existence. Reminiscent of the message of Pink Floyd's "The Wall". Awesome love that drivin' dirty bass and the drums too. Excellent use of your flare for unusual experimental sounds in the surrounding space too. Excellent. Does give me a sense of the marching forces in 'the wall' too (for some reason). My only nit is not on the vocal performance but the production ..it's good the vocals are up front where they should be .. but a touch more compression or the odd quick volume automation points would help flatten out a little of the more peaky spots. That aside it's very radio ready imo and accessible. Check out my latest song called Misplaced

making it in the world man you are just such a pollyanna. Everything's always unicorns and rainbows with you isn't it? this is a really cohesive tune. i dig the guitars - the soloing is interesting - there are some cool little melodies in there. also like the toy sound - well placed and a great idea.
