Description
Uptake to the invitation to come and enjoy a jam along with Mr Jack and his geetar......this is a no frills rendition and no tweaks, (inspired by Mr Richard and Mr Harold Mando and Geetar combo January porch Music thang) and then threw in a slide 'cos that s what I'm trying to get the hang of and then a bit of bass string picking on my bowl back........

front porch jam
this is so typical of the way these kinda jams go for the likes of me. The slide was a great idea.

Living where
I do in the flattest part of Yorkshire, the Vale of York it is increasingly difficult to emulate a mountain sound...to this end I performed sat at the top of a set of step ladders set at the top of our staircase. The swearing had to go ...Lizzy said it was just a bit too much. But I may sneak it in later.

Yep, it's a TFP Jam Chris
Neat job on the mandolin, that's one I've never tried to play. Like the way you just went for it man, this is too cool. It's definitely got that down home mountain kind of sound gong on, as mowguy3 suggested.

Thanks for posting this one Chris

This was just bubbling away once I heard the soundbed and had a few runs with the Mandolin....even got a compliment off the missus...which is world stopping....I obviously must have subcociously absorbed all the music from all the mountain based movies:0)that I have ever seen....but theydon't always portray woodsmen in a favourable light!!Dem Hills Have Eyes brrrrr. So at times up me stepladder (See reply to Karen)I was frit..

The only porch
I've ever sat on was on the sixth floor of a block of flats.
With that in mind this really had that mountain sound (not too many of them in England either).
Nice one Chris.

Very nice jamming Chris. Only nit is Jack's guitar should be up just a little bit. Otherwise, very cool outdoor jam feel. Nice playing throughout bro!

Hartley's?
I've always had a preference for strawberry although blueberry is my all time favorite. It's a credit to you that during the recession you write a tune expressing the benefits of making your own preserves.
Really can't get what the conection is with the good music and making jam is though.
