Description

This song was the last one I recorded for the RPM challenge in Feb. I wrote, recorded and mixed this one all in one day just to see if I could pull it off. Pretty standard formula but seems to work fine. It's got one of those mini epic endings I like so much lately.

	mixing OK, wasn't my strong point, I'm learning a little better now. The studio monitors help a lot (even if they are pretty cheap). The vocals have some standard GB effect on them (vocal reflection). I probably mixed in some compression as well. Look out radio. Thanks Brendan. Check out my latest song called Wake Up

God created the heavens and Earth. In on day Nick created his own little piece of heaven in this song.

Wonderful clean mix my friend, with nice production values and a great backing tracks. For my ears the vox could have been a little more out front in the mix, but then again, I am about half deaf.

	right The quick ones sometimes just turn out so right. I think this one is one of those. At 2:40 it really seems to come all together,. The last set of harmonies and them into the solo, ramps you back down and then on up to the crescendo. Formulaic, yes, but it rings true non-the-less. Good vibe
great sound. Not bad at all for a 1-day (or 100 day for that matter). I wish I could do that! Kind of a paw-like sound I think, from one of their acoustic tracks on "Death to Traitors". Something about the harmony of the vocals with the rest of it makes me say that. You are definitely making the most of your time. I definitely envy you in some ways (but not others). As the blokes say, cheers.

I don't know if you could find a copy in, you know, your closet or something.

You often have vibe like this song in your acoustic works. And paw was also cool at doing metal breaks in the middle of an acoustic song. I like the way they did "slept on my glove" (I think that was the name) on the same album. Really trippy light-acoustic type song that would just get metal for a couple seconds!! Then go back! I bet you'd like it if you haven't heard it. My band used to cover paw a bit. Gasoline! It was a fun song to do.
