This is a totally
cool song. The vocals are crisp and clear but the guitar and keyboard seem sort of muffled. It kills as it is but I'd love to hear you clean up the guitar some.

This is so spiritual and thoughtful ...very cool work with the keys ..
nice warm feelin all over ...the vocal so tasty emotional and so talkative

that smile
the one we get from our kid, wife, friend etc..where the light goes on and crowds out some of lifes silly darkness makes it all worth it. Wonderfully warm vocal, and I love the little "genesis" like lines that carry through the song in the background.

Great to see you post here again Joseph. Cool song, great vocals, but maybe Mark is right on the "muffled" comment. I thought you might be going for the "let's start with a muffled music bed and morph it into a super clear Logic mix" vibe ;)

Your voice is sounding good here, and it's a good song.

Joe, I've been hoping that your absence from MJ may be the result of some positive stuff happening for you.

Love this, Joe ...
What a sweet melody ... gorgeous stuff. Your voice sounds as good as I've ever heard it - clear and soaring and perfectly capturing the mood of the song. Amazed by those high notes! The harmonies are lush too. A definite favourite for me.

Nice vox and lyrics Joseph
Love the song, and you vocal is great. I think I agree with Mark's assessment on the Guit and keys, although the Bass is right there my friend. I'd love to hear this with the guit and keys cleaned up a bit and the added drama and dynamics that would add to it. But for sure the lyrics and you vox are great.

Lovely song
introspective - pleasant - reminds me of late 60's early 70's - I don't know why I'm thinking 'Eagles' - hope that's okay. You have a very nice singing voice. : )

Lovely lyrics
The song grows better and better as it plays. Are they really bagpipes playing, sound great and they really fit, first bagpipes I've heard that I actually liked the sound of. Great vocal.

Like the drifting keyboard sounds lilting over the rhythm. Very nice. Sounds quite Lou Reedish, which is not a bad thing by the way!! Cool.
