Description

Right then... Bud inspired me to experiment with a little demon called the Buddha Machine. It is such a crazy simple device I wish I had thought to invent it myself. This track consist of very little electric guitar,electric piano, drums and 80% tweeking the thumb wheel on the little box. I have been fussing with this for something additional and not coming up with anything. If anyone else can find something to do with it ... slice and dice.

I love these little experiments of yours, especially this one. I can tell you two things about this. One is it's a good thing I didn't listen to this while taking acid, and the other is this goes a long way in convincing me you did take acid when you put it together. lol ;-)

This is indeed dreamy, as Rebsie said, but in a dark, somehow salacious way. Cheeky, almost, and ethereal (in a concrete kind of way) - a trip with a destination, although I don't know what it is. Floydish, yes, but uniquely davisamerica too. I get the soundtrack, cinematic vibe, but man alive, that's one creepy movie! I'm sailing away. Makes me think. You are an endless source of creativity. Love it. Nicely done, man. Peace.

really pushed the limits of the machine, because if you hadn´t mentioned, I should notice it.You did a very good manipulation job.
I think you have a perfect track here.
Maybe some vocals?
Instrumentally, it is very hard to suggest some addition.It sounds pretty full and throughly developed.There is no loose end or cracks which some other instrument should fix.

oh man
LOVE those opening drums. they have the feel of those huge japanese war drums that you have to be in totally great shape to play, standing up and putting your whole body into the energy of each hit. They start off this piece with an awesome energy that just never lets go. There are layers and layers - maybe not complex but lush and full of texture. I love the whatever effect is on that eguitar over in the right side. This is just too cool jack.

Electro Ambi-Jazz ?
Now THIS is really cool! The drums make for a sophisticated driving quality at the outset of the piece, after which this Floydian thing starts to happen, then the beat is back. It's really effective that you lost the drums mid piece since their return is so great. Spacey finish too.
