Description
For the fun of it, a live recording done in Montreal's beautiful Lafontaine Park where, comes summertime, I enjoy hanging out to play with whoever happens to drop by. There have been memorable jams happening there and I look forward to this summer's crop. There's a unique joy in playing outside in the open, surrounded by nature and people. Plus I met some good musicians there, with some becoming good friends.
We were a whole bunch that time, some I can identify - Rodrigo, a friend from Chile, on rhythm guitar, Charlie on guitar too noodling in the back and more upfront in the last minutes when I picked up the rhythm too, Jemery, a great percussionist and friend, on the Tama or talking-drum, and a few others too, including yours truly soloing a while and then taking up upbeat chords and having fun with adding a little vocal touch.
The recording could be better, and worst.
In any case, I enjoy it's raw live feel.
So, a little interlude yes
- before the next
studio piece.
Enjoy.

this is my favorite kind of music.... impromtu jamming. I dig it. What did you use to record it?
