Description
I'm on a roll - bringing you some more loud, dancy stuff. Song #199. Wonder how song 200 will actually be? Will it be something amazing? Will it be broken? Will I go out in a "blaze of glory" or will it be a fizzle, like the last episode of Seinfeld? :P

Number 1
That's where I'd place you in this little contest you're doing. That's not to say you won't blow it on the final take, but I'm thinking probably not. you are too good at this stuff Doofy

Another danceable bit of musical fluff my friend, and not bad in any way. One thought though is it could use a little more bottom end to drive it. Then again maybe not, it seems to work without it.

Any way, I like it, even though this kind of music is not my cup of tea, as it were. Great track Doofy

How about piecing together
a quarter minute from all 199 songs..just joking. I didn't think the last episode of Seinfeld fizzled. They spliced a bunch of stuff in there, unless I'm thing of the wrong episode. "Never mind!" I thought this was snappy and frighteningly fast paced. Thanks.

For some reason....
this make me think of an Atari 2600 with some serious attitude. Or maybe an Atari 5200 with just a little bit of a chip on its shoulder. Or maybe Intellivision, except George Plimpton is doing the commercial with a spiked collar and a mohawk.... Well, you get the picture....

As always...
Thanks for listening and commenting. I have plenty of catching up to do, as far as comments go.

Now, why some of you are thinking Atari is because the screen shot is Enduro from Atari 2600. I implanted the thought. :P

disagree
I disagree with sloparts. I dont think it needs more low end. It needs less high end. So I have to wonder what type of system we are listening through. Plus Ive played old arcade games on my mac. Defender and the likes. So I love this!

Doof doof doof doof
Sounds like something from "Run Lola Run" - I loved that movie. I agree with Ed that a little more bass in the doof might be a good idea, but song #199!!??!!

speeding, flying, and lots of bling
I think this track is speedy (yeah maybe the pic) and it has some outstanding stuff holding it together if it didn’t the sound would have flown apart somewhere in the middle and the listener would be ready for the next track on the CD. It is also well produced really got some great high end bit rates, but my ears are missing something in the song either some sort of low octave bass or a simple dry beat that helps the sound fly more steady. Not really sure ether way I say rip that sucker to CD and make few $$$ on it.

Last updated 5-4-2009: Doofy, aka The LAE, is now (unofficially) retired. After 5 years and 200+ tunes, and most importantly, a 14-month old, I figured it's time to hang it up, so to speak. While I'd not say I'll never release another tune, I ... [see more]
