Description
This mix is another in the main series of Space Ambient tracks that I've been uploading for a few weeks.

This one has the dynamic of space asteroid miners and their work in this very inhospitable environment. I hope you can be transported to be there with them as they do their day to day jobs.

As always I am very interested in your thoughts, comments and suggestions, good or otherwise.

(There is a VERY long version of this, where the dynamic feel changes more over the lengthened soundscape. I may make it available for download if anyone want to listen to it. Let me know by dropping me a note and I'll send you the link, when I've uploaded it).

This Space Ambient work is moving towards a second album, that I hope to have finished in the next month or so.

Hi Martin......
This is the shorter version. The extended version has more things going on. If you go to the other side (hint hint) you'll find the first extended mix. I like that version better than this.

Thanks for stopping by.

Take care.

One more notch on the belt Paul
It's hard to conceptualize something like this much less come up with music to depict it, but it seems you have the skill set to do it my friend. Kudos for the effort, and the successful conclusion of those efforts, this really works for me Paul. Great track, I just love it.

Hi Ed......
Sometimes I wonder if anyone will understand my ideas but more and more these days people, such as yourslef, are listening instead of just hearing the soundscapes that I produce. It's a great development and actually spurs me on to better things.

I experiment with ideas, and lay different things down, as my mind takes me to different scenarios. If something works I go with it. If not I start a new mix, hence my music is similar but has 'edeges' that make it disimilar in subtle ways. (I hope).

I don't have a genre boundary or like rules, so my music takes on a more experimental 'attitude' as I try and Scape my vision into something musical, for others to listen to and relate.

Thanks for your encouragement with these Scapes.

Take care.

Hi Daniel.......
My current 'problem' is that I play with arrangements using different synth setups and something nearly always comes out of the many mixes that I can use in something as I flesh things out.

At the moment I'm playing around rather a lot, and so coming up with varied backdrop ideas with which to broaden and record.

We'll see what happens over the next month or so as I search for tracks for my first album on CDBaby. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Take care.

excellent Paul
love that fade in, there are some really greta sounds on this one. and loving the rhythmic sound and the progressions. what synths did you use on this one. those held chords are outstanding.

this is perfect as is but somehow if there were to be a remix, would love to hear someone playing drums under this at some point. talking crazy 60's psych, tossing a salad kind of drums. and acid rock guitar too.

Hi Michael.......
I'll drop you a note with the details of what I used to put this together, and also update the info above, about the stuff used.

This is one of a sequence of mixes that are being put together for a new album and I'm trying various styles, effects and other such stuff to broaden my scope in Space Ambient music. The suggestions you make have, I think, been used in others of these current mixes, and you may hear these in one or other of the next half dozen tracks that will appear on Macjams.

I have been playing with various guitar effects and you may hear them in the latest upload, 'Theres a Storm Coming' that I've just made available on here.

Take care.
