Lyrics
head to the wall
its my fault
(eating away)

dead child at dawn

bottles are empty
no cab has been called
(no money to pay)

dead child at dawn

cant leave you this way
gotta be all or nothing today
i see you crying
that bruise means no denying
in the end all he'll leave you with is pain...

can you come out to play?

the choke hold is strong
it wont be very long
till youre fading away
(walk to the light)

dead child at dawn

cant leave you this way
gotta be all or nothing today
i see you dying
this time theres no denying
in a moment or three it will all simply turn to grey

cant you come out to play?

Very, very
powerful song and I like the sparse production too. I think I would like the vocals a bit louder. Love this. Shame about the abrupt end though. Downloaded. Thanks.
Cheers

What man ?!?
Give me some volume here please. This is one damn fine song. I love the vocals but they're a bit too understated.
Instrumentation is brilliant but again I need the levels taken up, move a little closer to the mic or something.
Lovely harmonies on the vocals. I think this song has tons of potential, of course care must be taken not to take anything away from the rawness because that is an important element.
You have a great baby here, feed it and watch it grow.
Thanks for sharing.

cool stuff
I really like the raw sounds of the guitars and the contrast of the effected voice. Nice tune man.

what a chorus!
perfect production choices here, i love the level of the vocals here and the way the different vocal lines don't seem too interested in unison. the ending is fine but I'd let that final bass drum resonate completely before cutting the track. nice work, thanks.

Splendid, a fine mark for songwriting and presentaion. This remindes me a Brian Wilson chord progression, the vocal harmony really adds to the hypnotic feel. It may not be possible to add any production values from this knock without alterting the stark, naked feel. Do you listen to Syd Barett?

Hey
This totally reminds me of a lost Elliott Smith tune. Which I DIG.

Disturbing content, yet moving and touching. Sad. Beautifully done, thank you.

Great song!!
You vocals remind me of David Gilmore,, I would like to hear them more up front though. I wondered if you were deliberate in the harmonies that were off in timing here & there. You could have echoed the bass drum in the abrupt end or something that doesn't sound like the tape broke.. lots of potential here...keep on keepin on,T

Waltz #3
This is great! Really enjoyed this one. the harmonies towards the end are perfect.
Guitar sounds good. Ending a bit abrupt, but I assume that was intentional.
I'll look out for more of your stuff....

I was
about to quote Elliott Smith but that has been already done, so I will just say I loved your song.

up the mix
Love the song and the lyrics.
Great chord sequence...would just love to hear a clearer mix of this with stuff bought 'up' a bit.
In a way this song doesn't deserve to be so lo-fi but that's just me.
Enjoyed and moved by it all
cheers
