Description
This one has been in the works quite a while. As far as I can remember, I started it last summer when we had the MJ Live Aid Challenge. Another couple of tunes pushed it out of the way and I basically forgot about it until a couple of months ago when I was going though my unfinished projects bin.
Since then I've been tinkering with it, expanding it, working on lyrics and just generally fussing over it until I hit on something I liked. I don't know if this is the tune I've worked on the most since I started doing music again, but it comes pretty damn close.
It's pretty much in the 80s pop genre, surprise, surprise. As I said, I've added to it quite a bit. I consider this the "album cut." It's long. Almost seven minutes. I make no apologies for that. It's as long as it needs to be. At least in my opinion.
Sit down, turn up the speakers and give it a listen!
