Lyrics
Doggone Blues in E
by
John W Davis

I'm here to tell you baby, I don't know what to do.
You got me in the dog house. I'm thinkin' that we're through.
And then you say you love me. You say you love me too.
You tell me, “c'mon back in baby. I wanna sleep with you. Mmmm.

And the you slam the back door, and lock it up tight too.
I just gotta tell ya, I don't know what to do.

You got me in the dog house, and i've got them them doggone blues.
Doggone baby! I don't know what to do.
You keep me in the dog house.
I got them doggone blues. Mmmm.

First you say you love me. Then you say we're through.
I don't know which way I'm turnin'.
I got them doggone blues.

Tell me little girl. Why ya do me like you do?
You got me, got me, got me, got me, got me, wailin' them doggone blues.

Well, first she takes me in, and then she throws me out.
I just don't understand that woman.
I can't figure her out. I'm just stuck here with them doggone blues.
Yeah! They just wont go away

I tell ya little girl, I don't know what to do.
I got them doggone blues.

I'm here to tell you baby. I don't know what to do.
Ya got me in the dog house. I'm thinkin that we're through.

I think i'll just stay right here in the dog house.
Yeah! I gonna keep them doggone blues.
I got a case. Yeah! I got a bad case of them doggone blues.

Low down 'n dirty
Very cool, low down 'n dirty blues! Nice guitar solo. I love the fact that it's all real instruments. I think that if you were to indicate the fact that it's collaboration in the title you might get more hits, since Feter and Yemen are so popular in the MJ's community, i.e., "Doggone Blues, w. Feter/Yemen".

Nice collaboration guys!

True Blue
greateroony just right for a jam along again and some classic ingredients ..not least the key which is always a joy to jam in. More of the same plis! Dirty old harp and gravelly voice just finish the whole thing off so sweetly...well perhaps 'sweetly' aint quite the word but you know what I mean ,its just right.Well done to all who did.

You play Oscar well!
Blues in E, How can you go wrong? Gritt and gravel. Wish you had challenged the lead guitar riffage with the harp, that would have realy filled this out. Still a great track, begening to end. Thanks, loved it!

i'd give a lot
to be able to be in the same room with feter and swap leads. even better if the room is small and dark and filled with people... though! someplace like teluride with a few thousand drunken fans going nuts would be a nice alternative 8-) face to face is always best but the net IS the net! thanks for comment. obtw! i liike oscar just fine 8-)

Yeah boy!
Alrighty then! Good job men.

Down n' dirty blues collab!

Really good vocal delivery and harp playing. Nice live sound on those drums. Fiery blues licks on that electric geetar.

A tasty treat for these old ears.

Be well friends!
