SHANTY COLLABORATION CHALLENGE

WELL Im going to take my GOOD OLE time on this one...

this here is the tune ,, the melody, and the first two verses

I intend to find someone on here with
an auto harp,
a penny whistle,
an irish hand drum (what are those things called)
a concertina,
perhaps a guitar

and then get everyone on M.J. who`d like to take part to sing together with me on this...

so to start I need about 5 more verses.. Ideally (for the last verse) Im thinking that the ship will sink, and so the last verse he is literally holding his breath until he see`s his lassy again...

any takers? I think it`ll be a fun project to get everyone in on...

tis 10 month since Ive seen my lassy so fair, Ive her a silk ribbon to tie in her hair, a dress I have bought her while in spanish main, I shall hold my breath till I see her again..
