In 1669 the british government introduced a window tax which was bought in to replace the 'unpopular' tea tax.
It may seem petty but I found this piece of history the epitome of meanness which led me to think on how EVERYTHING is
taxed to pay for what ??
While the vast majority of us are struggling to make our way our Politicians are claiming expenses..from the taxpayers pockets so they can have a second home, have their tennis courts fixed and the vast gardens tended to.
I just really wanted to put this song up because of the current situation.
