First up
Really like this. Lived in Japan for several years but I don't know the song vocals. Love the digital take on the folk thing, a bit orbital-ish. That can only be a good thing. Maybe go with some strong koto phrasing for the arpegs?
Nice!

Travels Along
Very well nice build at the beginning. Nice introduction of elements. Nice use of sample vocal. Nice use of sub harmonics. Agree with ste about adding some Japanese influences. Around 3.20 you could replace that lead sound with a Japanese flute, the sort David Carradine plays in Kill Bill II.

under boom
It just moves along inside my body, The Japanese singing sets it apart drives it into uncharted space. The synth sounds are very uplifting after the middle vocal break it really shines! An excellent song!

More to this than meets the ear
I have always loved the way you create sounds for your rhythms and this is no exception. The vocals over the beat remind me of the way Enigma uses Gregorian Chant - tres cool. You have an interesting choice of melodic sounds and intertwining lines here too. At 5:20 I was getting the feeling in the build of one of Mike Oldfield's older works.

Terrific on all counts.

Cheers Keith, and welcome back!!!

skin tight
it is a journey through a magic desert. it is a ride on a toy camel. the bird flies backward here. the wind returns sand to the dunes. we trot through the sand, and watch the magic swirl at our feet. there is no destination. there is only the journey. it is a grand journey. thank you. 0x0
