thanks and that flute I sequenced. its not a loop. Ive been working on getting a realistic feel to organs and flutes using sequencing, and apparently it works haha... basically I got inspiration for this from one of Nas' old school tracks off one of his early albums. I was really feelin the beat and lyrics, and I wanted to make something similar. So i did... I played around for hours in reason until i got a good synth wispy background. I then played around with basslines and beats, mixing and mastering sounds. I figured id need something to make this track really stand out... and what better way to do it than a "flute solo" type of thing. so I spent a few hours getting a funky flute track down with the sequencing, and i sent the instru to my friend. He loved it and so I decided to make another spitlogic remix. spit is one of those people who really tries with his lyrics, and it shows. hes got to be one of the top lyricists on this site. haha and you also. peace frenchy t.. and keep on spittin the truth. yo cool stuff dude, nice sampling. the emotion of the beat fits nicely with the content. its also good to see you breaking off loops and becoming more creative in using sequencing. i read your bio and at your age you should start sequencing as soon as possible so you can progress asap. youve got skillz with loops and sampling, and putting sounds together, now its time to take it to the next level dude, good job on the flute.
