dhragon oh no! another dragon... ; ) It didnt really give ME a feeling oif nostalgia - I guess that is more subjective in nature and different for everyone. I did get a feeling of place... so maybe, ya, nostalgia too. nice job. would like to hear some ritards and dynamics at the end of the phrases but that's just me.... nice piece. looking forward to more. this is ... a really nice listen on a late Friday afternoon. Peaceful, contemplative... and yes nostalgic. It works as it is. A moment of reflection via your music. Cool. Jack Check out my latest song called The Riverside (with Ed sloparts sitting in)

This is a sort of gentle composition, given the instruments you chose. There is no particular theme or "tune", it is more just washes of chords... that's not bad, it adds to the meandering nature of the piece. There are several places where you come to a stop, then pick back up again, and although that's a good thing to do sometimes, maybe work on building up to that pause a little more, so it sounds like a mini-ending (a "coda".) Hopefully these are helpful ideas. I am just starting to learn to write music too, and it seems complicated and "magic" at first... keep trying, listening, and learning from people. It is very rewarding!
