Whow Powerful music again from the Turtle. It does have a desolate yet thought provoking atmosphere, very well put together Marc, love it. Esp love the harp, it gives light in the dark. Very nice. The owner shoould be ashamed esp since Lisanne made a profit. Accidents like that are usually due to tiredness, so the owner should really help out or hire help. Hope everything is alright. Free Refills? Interesting composition. As it buzzes and clanks along, I accept your invitation to the idea of the cafe. I try to interpret each element to get a better idea of the cafe environment. At one point I think I heard the dishwasher drop a basket of forks on the floor, although there could've been some spoons in there as well. I like the slowed pace of this piece and the swirling sounds that float in the background kinda like dust in a beam of light. Don't laugh, I'm really trying to envision this - just describing what I see! I always like that crackling static breaking down of the electronic circuit sound you generate every so often. It's that sound where you turn the knob towards OFF and you stop just before the signal disintegrates. That tells me just what a dangerous working environment poor Lisanne endures! No wonder she spends so much time crying in the emergency room! The Asian plucking melody suggests the menu has a healthy variety of tasty specialties, although the cafe itself lacks the harmony of Feng Shui. Maybe if you put this tune on the juke box there, someone will make the necessary changes. On second thought, the boss will probably make your dear wife stay late and place mirrors opposite windows and such... Nice work Marc. Check out my latest song called Paper Sack

beauty and beast it conjures a texture of a sterile well run factory. there is one young lady in the large mechanics. she works. the factory works. however, there is emptiness in the factory. there is emptiness in the lady. they are chained together in this emptiness. occasionally there is time for a memory, a wish, a smile. not much. it is a hope she escapes the factory, and smiles more. the music is so skillfully crafted. best wishes, always. 0x0 Check out my latest song called futatsu 0x01

As with all Turtles YOu have a beautiful slow pace but get to the destination :) This is a very thoughtful song dude .....its much harder to do slow than fast ....Here is some even weirder stuff for you ....I was a chef for over 15 years and so I often dream of workin in the kitchen its just been such a big part of my life up till recently that it creeps in and I find myself slaving over the oven and doin prep only to find there is no pay check when I wake up ;) The Weird thing is I drempt of a chef who looked just like your Wife in that picture ....yea strange but real....what it is is that one of the chefs I worked for was a woman who looks eerily like your wife her name is Tenya and was one of the best chefs I ever knew . Anyway this was the first thing I listened to when I woke up and find myself with goose bumps from the coincidence .....Thanks for the head trip :) Great song indeed ! click clack The stuttering effect is very cool. Can't say I've heard anything quite like it here. I'd love more info on how you made it happen. This is a great piece. sculpture yes. i paint with sounds, i think. taking an emotion or emotional state and projecting it on beats and synth layers. i have no education in music or in musical theory (though i am learning and reading as i go along), according to my wife that allows me to make music for what it is, a progression of noise and notes. no boundaries, how cool is that!
