Description
Just a simple little instrumental that sat well with some video I shot.
Also serves to tide me over until I finish some other rock tunes.
The video was shot at Henderson Cliffs, Western Australia.

Simple often wins the day
and it works very well here. I love that guitar sound. Fits perfectly into the ambient backdrop. Beautiful scenery in the vid.

smooth
Dan,
I see this as the intro to a dark David Lynch film set in an impoverished industrial seaside town in Australia. Part paradise, part nightmare, part romantic getaway. Kinda-Leaving Las Vegas- but with smokestacks and waves.

Gorgeous...
very nice dreamy guitar, creating wistful harmonies in the air that you could almost touch. The video scenes were nice and they too had an empty overcast quality that added to the regret. I admit that I thought the offset-shutter effect in the video was distracting and didn't make much sense to me, but that's my only minor quibble ;-) Yay for more music videos on Macjams!

Mood
This piece for me is all about setting a mood that feels both remote, lonely, sprinkled with foreboding or foreshadowing. Maybe a little regret too for good measure. You have really captured a engaging soundspace that is fully immersive with such spare instrumentation. Brilliantly done Dan!

Now I will watch the video and see what you set the music to.

Be well,
Doug

Nice moment away
I enjoyed watching the video and going back for a repeat very much. The sound of this piece is very distinct, and it immediately transported me. Great job of setting a mood. Thank you for the nice ride.
