Description
Anytime I try a cover, my fear and reluctance multiplies for countless times compared to any of my songs.I worry about sounding too much like the original (what makes your cover pointless), about changing too much, about making the original composer angry about the liberties I always take...
I was a trying an electro cover of this song but when I read the Shoegaze thread last weekend I scraped my attempts and started this one.
Next I sent a rough mix to Feter which gave me some mixing tips and then another version emerged and with Feter´s blessing and support I post it...
Sounds at least a little like early Verve but more aggresive.I like the term "ambient Punk" which Bradford Cox from Deerhunter uses to describe their music and I think It can also be applied to this one.
I always end up coming and going to macjams and when I come back I am always happy to see (amongst other very nice things and people [and sounds]) Feter around: always so supportive and enthusiastic.God bless you, my good friend, for everything you do for us.

EDIT: The robotic guitar playing and the shifting yet simple drumming are on purpose...
