Fifel´s Night (broken leg)

Get Flash to see this player.

Description
Fifel is a little 11 day old wild rabbit my wife found. My wife found him near Goemans´ borrow, so he is probably his son.
With a broken leg, his chances of survival are slim to say the least. Fortunately, I guess, my wife is taking care of him as good as she can. Thanks to www.mybunny.org for the infant info.
Fifel, may the gods give you a better life.

What a little projection can evoke.....
Or is it...

Fifel's Night
Mr. Turtle - how cool is this??? I just love that you put up this description, and i thought about the plight of little Fifel all the way through, along with how lucky he is to have your wife trying to help him. This song perfectly captures all of that, i'm very touched by the mood of this - the continuing movement that underpins a sense of tenuousness, fragility and also hope. i just really LOVE this song!

I love comment
Thank you magna for gracing my page. I am glad that you had that mental picture while you were listening. I try to make micro-music-paintings. In any case, you are right, having my wife take care of him makes him a lucky bastard, under the circumstances....;)....I feel left out!

Great piece of electronica
Love the beat pattern throughout the track, and the emotive pads have a lovely sound to them as they weave through the beats. Great track Marc, really enjoyed this.

I Feel Lucky
Cuz I have a rabbit's foot keychain.... just kidding!

Interesting how you still managed to allow your stutteristic style to hover above the yummy electronic landscape. The sounds are carefully easing it's head in and out of it's burrow.

Marc, your music is so alluring. Hope everyone in your family is healthy and happy.

xoxoxo

LOL
Hahahahhaha, when i slowly read the first sentence i was like, how rude! But then I finally noticed the second one and I got tears from laughter. You are such a funny man, and it is good to have a laugh when things are a tad sad, no? Mmmm, I worry about Fifel, but I squash flies.....ow hypocritical is that.....
On the family side, things are slowly progressing, Lisanne is going to join me in Holland for a couple of months (1-3) to help me pack and spend time with my family.
Love, Marc and Lisanne

Seems ages
since you posted anything Marc, so I wonder if little Fifel is giving YOU some kind of strength as well as the inspiration to make this piece...... sounds warm, strong and comforting. Your wife too seems very caring and a good match for you, best regards M

Maurice!!
I was literally thinking of you yesterday. Married life, well, with my cherokee princess is a dream come true every single day. I learn so much from her, especially that emotions can be ok. But moreover, thank you for comforting and helping the turtle get stronger when he himself had his leg broken. Love, Marc and Lisanne

Love the way
this ebbs, flows and alternates between emotions. Great sounds. Good luck with Fifel.
Downloaded. Thanks.
Cheers

oops!
the song actually makes me swell up sometimes, Fifel is such an adorable little man. I am gonna post a cleaner version, but in the meanwhile i corrected my omission...download enabled! Thank you so much for this comment, you always always seem to feel the song, big or small, cosy or clean. In this case like you wrote....lets hope a requiem isn't needed...Marc and a worried Lisanne

greta track
almost pop for you. it's really very catchy and not as challenging to listen to as some of your other stuff. much more optimistic sounding as well. don't get me wrong, i loove all of your other material, but this is a pleasant surprise. now: what is that main synth? very nice, almost sounds like a CZ101. whatever it is i want it. great track Marc.

mmmmm;)
Have a look at ReFX Vanguard and Vaz Modular. Both pc based and both are fat. They are both main synths, but I guess You are looking for the Vaz, can't remember the patch name. THanks for dropping by and commenting.

fresh AIR
i think it was 5x who described your music as alluring and i think that's right on. not easy to write original, interesting electronica in the age of the gameboy and GB but this is intelligent and seductive. i dig it. and good luck to Fifel, whose high school days should be a breeze now that you've given him the coolest bunny name ever.

Loverly
Like M2, I love the saw wave sound of that main synth noise as it swells and subsides throughout the track - but my question is, what are the drums done with?
I am jealous of Diviner - jamming together soon...
:-)
Great track Marc

Just what I needed...
...a fine injection of bouncy energy into my (mostly) dreary week.

This tune is a particularly excellent one, my friend!

Once we rescued a bunny that fell down our basement window well. He didn't seem to be injured, but he didn't last long either and died soon after that. Maybe it was the shock. Anyway, I'm not sad. I will just listen to your tune again and I will be happy.
