Lyrics
have mercy
have mercy
all you paternal children
have mercy
have mercy
all you paternal children

the roman smak
the roman smak\
and the gods that you worship

the pagan god

the pagan gods
yeah that's all

i roll my socks up
i roll my socks up
and i wade into the mud

have all mercy it's all what i have done

i roll my socks up and i wade into the mud

this is very cool dude - love the mix of sounds and influences - some david byrne, some dmb, some firehose - smokin' lead and big, big percussion. great sing along chorus too.

Sweet
This has a great party vibe to it - a groovy ensemble just lifting the roof. Love the words - "roll my socks up and I wade into the mud" - it's all we can do! Very cool. Thanks for sharing this. Peace.

Great to hear from you again...
It's a live shot, so need to go into mixing details. The song, is a song, however; they always are. At first, honestly, I felt a huge JOAN-soundbyte missing, but then, it all stood clear; this could become a hit. I was caught by the refrain after the first round of bullets, and I can only imagine others would be as well. You where always smart, and are, and always will be, but honestly it sound refreshing to hear you bring in some Beatles in your roughness. WE all have too, once and as while. The refrain is catchy to say the least.
