Description
This mix is one that may also appear as a classical piece. I toyed with the idea of both genres during the piece's early mixing.

Recently I have been listening to Gorecki and this piece is influenced by some of his music.

The format of the soundscape is one of sparrows, the young people of Iran and the powers that be, darkly looming.

I feel strongly towards anyone trying to break free, especially when those trying to break free have done nothing wrong and are wanting a different future.

I am interested in any of your thoughts.

The World Is Watching

I could not agree more. It is a sad situation for many all over this world. Not a day goes by that I do not offer thanks for my freedom and say a prayer for those who don't have it.
The music. I know nothing about this genre but this is soothing with a touch of un-ease. Perfect for the Description. Very nice. Thank you.

darkly looming
You nailed it with that thought, Paul. You have such skill in painting an emotional picture with your soundscapes that traverse the sonic horizon with a perfect ear for conjuring just the right image. I can see THIS piece in a lot of applications, but the one you suggest is powerful, and your composition describes it perfectly. I feel a bit of departure from you "deep space" pieces of the past few months. This one seems like it is earthly, ominously earthly...May the sun rise over that horizon! (Maybe that's the next place to take this.) I am always intrigued by your inventiveness.
Peace.

It is about time
we stopped painting the Iranian and Middle East culture with a broad brush. The brave souls in Teheran are our brothers and sisters too. Excellent work and a great topic for discussion. Kudos to you Paul.

Mysterious
Feel like something's brewing - darkly looming, right.
Gorecki certainly goes there too. . .
Classical ambient. . .
Fine work.
Thanks !

You are
without a doubt the MJ master of soundscapes! Very dark, looming... this seems foreboding, dangerous...

Simple excellent!

Reinholt on the dark side
Man, more autumn music when the birds are singing outside my window. Very powerful piece of work here, Paul. Dark and brooding. I will save this one and enjoy it when the autumn gloom returns, when foreboding silence falls over my landscape, the cold wind from the north rustles the branches, scraping across my window. Classic.

Pro Ambient
Or "Reinholt" as we call it nowadays...

Title made me think of Peter Gabriel's song Biko: "And the eyes of the world are watching now". And look what happened down there. There is still hope...

Thanks again!

The important reason that you've made the song for, makes it more precious, Thanks for getting involved.
